This will be a LEARN BY DOING style clinic which will replicate a very detailed throws practice. You will walk away with a deep understanding of the technique for your event as we will take you through all phases of each of the throws and provide a variety of drills, exercises, and training ideas necessary to practice as you prepare for the season.

All sessions will be held rain or shine!
Please bring your own implements if you are able.
If staying for the day, we recommend bringing your own lunch, but we will have some light snack options available.

Clinic Schedule
9:00a – 11:30a Javelin Throw
11:30a – 12:15p Lunch Break
12:30p – 3:00p Shot Put
3:30p – 6:00p Discus Throw

Please arrive and check in 15 minutes prior to the start of your session

Clinic Instructors

Ryan Yurchick – East Coast Throws Academy co-founder and head coach; guided four 2021 Nike Outdoor Nationals meet qualifiers; coach of recent NCAA Division I All-American in the shot put; led the 2016 Massachusetts All-State female javelin champion and male runner-up; experience working with multiple NCAA and high school national qualifiers and place-winners in all of the throwing events; has coached middle school, high school, and across all levels of the NCAA
